I have a love-hate relationship with watercolors. They are hard to do. A mistake cannot be corrected. If I lose concentration and something sloppy occurs, I have to start again. I usually paint them three or four times till I understand how to paint this "puzzle" and get the colors right. But done well - watercolors are simply beautiful.
The originals are not large. Most are smaller then a regular sheet of paper. For that reason, print sizes will be limited to twice as big as the original. This will ensure they retain the original intimacy.
Watercolors come printed with white around the image, just like the original. If you mat and frame it, I like to leave about 1/4 inch white all the way around. This allows one to see the paper so you know it is a watercolor, and also leaves room for my signature.
